Mech
So i did an art test for a Mech concept. (Military gunwalker) At first i figured it was going to be a little challenging sense i had never modeled anything like this before. I sketched over one on the concept photos in photoshop to simplify the modeling process. I used Adobe Maya for the model. After finishing it, I was actually impressed with myself. For the first time of doing this, I feel like I've done a very good good. Another piece of the assignment was to work up a low-poly and high-poly version. The time limit was a little over two weeks. I started on the high-poly first and worked backwards to the low-poly. I figured that it would be good to get all the details out the way in the beginning.

Alien Cowboy
So I'm working on a character and at first I didn't know what to model. I started on a piece but didn't finish it. I became a little uninspired to finish it. However, I remember that I had some sketches of some characters that I wanted to model. I had sketched a cowboy in my Acting For Animators Class. I started to model that in Maya and had it came down to modeling the head of the character, it kind of felt like the character had a alien-like head. I decided to go with that theme. I will post it by the end of this week. That just goes to show you that sometimes your thoughts change and as a artist you dont have to be married to one picece and that you should embrace change and all aspects of it. It's called, EVOLUTION OF THE ARTISTRY. ;)
